So yeah, it's obviously been a very long time (a few months short of two years) since the last ZSQ came out, so I pose this question to you, the users of Newgrounds:

Release sooner and drop minigames, or wait it out until they get put in. Mind you there have been significant interface and score tweaks as well as new questions, so don't think it's exactly the same as the first.

So there, post your thoughts below!

I know it's been awhile since there's been an update.

Mostly school and other endeavors have been interfering. Rest assured, we're working and the game hasn't been "cancelled."

We're just going "dark" for a bit. "Yeah."

There are going to be more interactive parts to the new quiz, mini-games if you will. They'll be more complex than simply "Dur shoot the zombie! kthx!"

Hopefully they'll have enough depth to warrant their own leaderboards, but I guess that'll come later. I don't have an awful lot of experience with this sorta thing, so it'll be a learning experience for me as well :p

You can expect there to be 3-5 mini-games.

All the answers and questions are essentially done. Probably going to get started on extras soon, like stat tracking and the like.

Things are still going smoothly. Half of the answers are finished.

This time things are going to be much clearer:

The grading graphics are so close to being finished. After those are done, I'll get started on the extra stuff.

I'm debating on whether or not to reveal what it is when I start working on it. Eh, time will tell...

So things are going good with the queez. Right now I'm "finalizing" the overall grade graphics and sound. (Nothing is truly final until the game is released to the public.) Those of you who know (or don't know) their stuff will get a little surprise when you check out your final grade.

As I've said numerous times before, there will be many new sections/features in the quiz. All I'm going to say is that there are four additional features currently planned.

One of the other big topics I wanted to hit upon is whether or not I should start a dev podcast. Essentially it'd be me and some friends or family talking about the first and second quizzes, answering e-mails, and other random stuff. So if you people want a podcast, comment below or send an e-mail to solidsnake31313@yahoo.com.

On an unrelated note, here is something that may or may not appear in the final game.

I've decided that I'm actually going to have to redo the grading screen.

It's for the best, I suppose.

The questions and basic scoring system are (finally) complete. Now it's graphics, graphics, graphics.

It's funny how a simple actionscript error can be so frustrating...
